We know Earth Day was last week, but you can still join Florence Welch, Mark Ruffalo, Rosario Dawson and Spike Lee to do your part. These celebrities have each designed a label for Kiehl's Since 1851 Rare Earth Deep Pore Cleansing Mask, as part of the Limited Edition Label Art series. Kiehl's will donate 100% of the proceeds to Recycle Across America (RAA), a nonprofit dedicated to introducing comprehensive solutions that simplify recycling and make it more effective.
Purchasing this limited edition mask will not only make a difference to the environment, but it will also make a difference to your skin! Rare Earth's key ingredient, Amazonian White Clay, has unique properties that remove dirt, toxins, excess oil and dead cells, and it has been shown to effectively minimize pores.
Known for its commitment to environmental issues, Kiehl's donated $100,000 to RAA, in order to create standardized recycling labels that will be offered to select K-12 schools across the U.S. It is in keeping with the company's own Recycle and Be Rewarded Program, which allows customers to return empty bottles in exchange for product. Since 2009, 500,000 empty Kiehl's bottles have been collected! It’s another win/win from one of the leaders in the beauty industry! $23 at www.kiehls.com.
