For the past few years, Kiehl’s Since 1851 has celebrated Earth Day by enlisting the help of celebrities to create product labels to benefit Recycle Across America (RAA). We thought you ought to know that this year’s celebrity artists are singer/songwriter Alanis Morissette and actor Zachary Quinto.
This year’s guest artists have each designed a Limited Edition label, depicting their vision of social responsibility for Kiehl’s 4.2 oz. Ultra Facial Cream, which will be available April 20th in Kiehl’s stores – just in time for Earth Day. The company will donate 100% of the net proceeds from this series to RAA, a not-for-profit organization dedicated to delivering society-wide solutions that eliminate public confusion, stimulate the environmental economy and expedite progress. The funds raised from these labels will be used to create 65,000 standardized recycling labels, which will be donated to K-12 schools nationwide.
Earth Month is also the time that Kiehl’s reminds customers about the “Recycle and Be Rewarded!” in-store recycling program. This ongoing program, available in Kiehl’s free-standing stores nationwide, allows customers to return their empty Kiehl’s bottles, tubes and jars for recycling, in exchange for product. Since 2009, Kiehl’s has recycled over 900,000 bottles! Recycling has never been easier, or more beautiful! www.kiehls.com
