We are all about sun protection, but we are also about not looking like an extra from the movie “Alien,” especially not on the beach! These outlandish masks come in a variety of colors and patterns, and are said to be just as effective at protecting the skin from insect bites and jellyfish stings, as they are at protecting it from the sun. We bet it also protects you from meeting members of the opposite sex. What’s even stranger than this invention is the fact that people wear it WITH A SWIMSUIT. If you are that concerned about sun and stings, wouldn’t you cover the rest of your body with say, a wetsuit? Even though it’s only $2.40-$4, we think we will shell out a little more on sunscreen and a stylish floppy hat.
